Sikhona, Inc. — Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your access to and use of Sikhona, Inc.’s (“Sikhona,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) websites, platforms, applications, digital services, content, communications, and related systems (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP, along with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and any additional policies that may apply.

If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Services.

 

1. Purpose of This Policy

Sikhona exists to build systems that expand opportunity, protect human dignity, and support progress at scale. This AUP is designed to:

  • Protect users, communities, and stakeholders

  • Prevent misuse, abuse, fraud, and harmful activity

  • Maintain reliability, security, and performance

  • Establish clear expectations for responsible participation

  • Support compliance with applicable laws and regulations

We take misuse seriously and enforce these standards to protect the integrity of Sikhona’s ecosystem.

2. Who This Policy Applies To

This AUP applies to all users of the Services, including:

  • Website visitors

  • Customers and purchasers (Store Services)

  • Event attendees and registrants

  • Podcast listeners and media users

  • Partners, vendors, and contractors

  • Applicants and career/talent pool users

  • Investors and investor relations visitors

  • Any person accessing Sikhona systems, networks, content, or tools

3. Acceptable Use Standards

You agree to use Sikhona Services lawfully and respectfully.

You may use the Services to:

  • Learn about Sikhona, its initiatives, and platforms

  • Register for events and receive official updates

  • Engage with Sikhona content and media

  • Submit inquiries, partnership requests, or applications

  • Purchase merchandise (where offered)

  • Access resources and information made available publicly

You must ensure that your use does not harm Sikhona, other users, or the public.

4. Prohibited Activities

You may not use Sikhona Services to engage in any activity that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or disruptive. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to the following:

A. Illegal, Harmful, or Abusive Conduct

You must not:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

  • Promote, enable, or engage in criminal activity

  • Threaten, harass, stalk, abuse, or intimidate others

  • Post or transmit hateful, discriminatory, or violent content

  • Encourage harm to individuals, groups, or communities

  • Exploit or endanger minors in any way

B. Fraud, Deception, and Misrepresentation

You must not:

  • Misrepresent your identity, credentials, or affiliations

  • Impersonate Sikhona, its employees, partners, or representatives

  • Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information

  • Submit deceptive investor inquiries or proposals

  • Attempt to manipulate transactions, registrations, or event access

C. Security Violations

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, or network

  • Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without written authorization

  • Bypass authentication, access controls, or security measures

  • Introduce malware, viruses, Trojan horses, spyware, ransomware, or harmful code

  • Interfere with the integrity or operation of Sikhona’s Services

  • Use automated systems to overload or disrupt the Services (DDoS or similar attacks)

D. Exploitation, Scraping, and Unauthorized Automation

You must not:

  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Services without authorization

  • Use bots, crawlers, or automated tools to extract content or user data

  • Conduct bulk downloads of materials without permission

  • Use any automation to impersonate users or create false engagement metrics

  • Resell Sikhona content or data without a written agreement

E. Spam and Unsolicited Communications

You must not:

  • Send spam, bulk messages, chain letters, or unsolicited promotions

  • Use contact forms for advertising unrelated services or scams

  • Attempt phishing or social engineering

  • Use Sikhona platforms to collect personal data from other users without permission

F. Intellectual Property & Content Abuse

You must not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or sell Sikhona content without authorization

  • Use Sikhona trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written permission

  • Upload or share content that infringes another party’s rights

  • Create derivative works from Sikhona content for commercial use

  • Remove copyright or trademark notices

G. Violations of Privacy and Personal Rights

You must not:

  • Collect or share personal information of others without their consent

  • Post private or confidential information about others

  • Track or surveil individuals through the Services

  • Attempt to access private data, accounts, or communications

H. Offensive or Inappropriate Content Submissions

If you submit content or information to Sikhona (including messages, applications, event participation content, or media inquiries), you must not submit content that is:

  • Pornographic, obscene, or sexually exploitative

  • Excessively violent or graphic

  • Hate-based or discriminatory

  • Defamatory, threatening, or abusive

  • Designed to provoke harassment or harm

Sikhona reserves the right to remove or restrict such submissions.

5. User Responsibilities

By using the Services, you agree to:

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials (if applicable)

  • Provide accurate information when submitting forms or making purchases

  • Respect the rights, dignity, and safety of others

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

  • Follow event rules and venue requirements when attending Sikhona events

  • Use Sikhona resources responsibly and ethically

6. Enforcement and Consequences

Sikhona may take appropriate actions if we believe you have violated this AUP. These actions may include:

  • Warning or notice

  • Content removal or restriction

  • Form submission blocking

  • Account suspension or termination (if applicable)

  • Event removal or registration cancellation

  • Store order cancellation or refusal of service

  • Reporting to law enforcement or regulatory authorities

  • Legal action to protect Sikhona and stakeholders

Sikhona reserves the right to enforce this policy at its discretion, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Reporting Violations

If you suspect misuse, policy violations, fraud, or security concerns, please notify Sikhona immediately.

We may request additional information to investigate reports fairly and responsibly.

8. No Waiver

Failure by Sikhona to enforce any part of this AUP does not waive our right to enforce it later.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time to reflect:

  • Security changes

  • Platform updates

  • Regulatory requirements

  • Operational improvements

When updated, the “Last Updated” date will be revised. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
